I am more of a Tupac fan, but I love this quote from Biggie Smalls. Hi, my name is Shaniqua Smith and I am 25 years old. I am currently a college student at San Diego City College. I have been at City College for about a year now and I'm excited about what I want to accomplish here.

I love to party and "turn up", but only on the weekends, well some weekends if I don't have homework. I usually party with my cousins and half of the time with my brother. He really knows how to throw a party and have a great time. But really the parties don't start unless I'm there. Usually, adults think you can't party and study and get good grades. I am extremely busy with homework, working and partying, so I asked myself, "How do I balance the three?"

I have a ginormous family, I live with my mother and father, and I have two brothers and one sister. I am currently dating someone right now and he is amazing. With my family and boyfriend motivating me, I am on top of my game. I've had a job since I was sixteen and I've never been unemployed since then. However, that's Gods doing. Yes, I do believe in God as well. My favorite subject is math. I just can't wait to see what my outcome will be in five years. I work part-time at least twelve hours a week. it's easy to balance the three: party, family, and life. If you keep a schedule and party only on the weekends, and not on Sunday, you will be able to balance all of these things. So, students need to know when to study and when to say no to friends to avoid an overload.

I have made a dramatic change since high school, but I still party and have fun. I have a 3.15 overall GPA, which is better now in college than when I was in high school. Once we change ourselves and our attitude, and with education comes great success, and that's when we can change the world.
